Teddy Ray

From Pastor to Yale Law School Graduate

Today on the podcast we are joined by Teddy Ray, ⁠Asbury Seminary⁠ alum, co-owner of ⁠North Lime Coffee and Donuts⁠ and as of May 2024, a graduate of Yale Law School. Teddy joins us to talk about his discernment process in deciding to go to law school, what his time at Yale has been like and what he’s learned about God, calling, and making a major life change.

Teddy Ray

Teddy Ray was a pastor in Lexington, KY for 20 years when he felt God leading him away from pastoral ministry. After much prayer and discernment, Teddy and his family moved to Connecticut for him to attend Yale Law School in 2021. This past May Teddy graduated. He will be clerking remotely for two judges consecutively over the next two years in Kentucky while living in Connecticut with his wife Emily and their four children.
